The birthright tribe of Ephraim has a God-given obligation to restore Israel’s natural lineages. Just as Joseph in Egypt was a savior to his brethren, so God’s end-time servants are prophesied to save the Jews, Ten Tribes, and Lamanites at the time God sends his judgments upon the world.
Latter-day Saints have been commanded to “turn . . . the hearts of the Jews unto the prophets [the ancient prophets, their ancestors], and the prophets unto the Jews; lest I come and smite the whole earth with a curse, and all flesh be consumed before me” (Doctrine & Covenants 98:17).
As the Zion prophet and prophet of the end-time, Isaiah is the source Nephi, Jacob, and Jesus turn to in the Book of Mormon when predicting Israel’s spiritual and physical restoration that precedes Jesus’ second coming. As in Enoch’s day, Jesus cannot come until Zion is established.
Isaiah teaches the transition God’s end-time servants must make from entrenchment in Babylon to helping establish Zion. Isaiah’s theology, which dovetails with LDS temple covenants, shows how end-time spiritual kings and queens gather Israel to safety in millennial lands of inheritance.
Nephi testifies that the prophecies of Isaiah will be understood at the time they come to pass (2 Nephi 25:7). He declares that “they shall be of great worth unto them in the last days; for in that day shall they understand them; wherefore, for their good have I written them” (2 Nephi 25:7–8).
As thousands of Latter-day Saints testify who understand the prophecies of Isaiah—including many in church leadership positions—the Isaiah Institute provides the tools for interpreting the Isaiah’s words so that there no doubt of their meaning or of the empowerment that comes with it.
