Question: I hear conflicting reports on where the Isaiah Institute stands in relation to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Does your organization support the church?
Answer: As new subscribers to the Isaiah Institute’s publications and social media are often not fully informed about where it stands in relation to the church, we have been happy from time to time to reaffirm our support of the church, which has existed from day one to the present. On a parallel, the institute directly disavows groups or organizations that speak against the church and has often pointed out their errors.
You will further observe that Isaiah Institute publications, lectures, and materials are based on the words of Isaiah and other scriptural sources. Its motto is, “If you can’t show it [from the scriptures], don’t say it.” In the case of those who sow doubt about the Isaiah Institute itself, it is typically because they aren’t familiar with these scriptures, have not searched them to know the truth, or otherwise don’t believe them.
Lastly, as our Mission Statement affirms, the Isaiah Institute’s goal is (1) to provide the literary tools that unseal the prophecy of Isaiah; (2) to demonstrate these tools using multi-media formats; and (3) to spread the prophet Isaiah’s end-time message throughout the world. Nephi’s prophecies to that effect in 2 Nephi 25:7–8 inspire the Isaiah Institute’s wonderful team of volunteers to facilitate making this happen.
